During my year as Mayor of Llanelli, I raised funds for three local charities and last week I presented these charities with the money raised. Read more.
My chosen charities were CYCA, Shopmobility and the Friends of Llanelli Train Station. Between the three charities, nearly £6,000 was raised to be shared between them. Fundraising activities were varied and included a Rock Night in the Masons Arms, A Board Games Convention, running the Llanelli Half-Marathon and of course, the obligatory Curry Nights!
